VALEGRID FLOW

Plastering contractor software for pricing by the m² and running the crew

Plastering contractor software helps a plastering or drylining firm price work by the square metre, keep crews on site productive and get paid on time. VALEGRID FLOW prices plastering tenders with Flow, its AI estimator, from the specification and drawings using your own m² rates, turns a won tender into a live project with a budget per area, and runs the rest from one approved timesheet: price-work or day-rate crews, CIS deductions, and valuations with retention and the domestic reverse charge.

Price plastering and drylining per m² from your rates

Board and skim, render, dry lining, beads and making good priced from your own rate library, room by room from the scope on the drawings and spec. Flow keeps materials, labour and plant apart, records anything it had to assume, and drafts the quotation for you to check and send.

Price-work and day-rate crews on one register

Price-work gangs sign in by name at the gate with no app to install, while day-rate workers clock in by QR with GPS. Both appear on the live on-site board, and day-rate hours book against the areas you priced.

CIS handled both ways

Valegrid Flow records the CIS a main contractor deducts from you and works out what you deduct from your own subcontractors — 20%, 30% or gross, on the labour element only — with statements produced from each payroll run.

Valuations that match the work done

Weekly valuations and invoices are built from approved timesheets, with retention carried through and the domestic reverse charge applied correctly, so what you bill matches what your crew actually did.

How it works

  1. 1

    Price by the m²

Upload the drawings and spec to a tender, or draw the rooms in Flow. Flow sets out the rooms and prices them from your m² rates; you approve and send.

  2. 2

    Win and set the budget

The won tender becomes a live project with a budget per area, so you can see which floor is running over.

  3. 3

    Pay and get paid

Crews sign in on site, timesheets are approved once, and CIS payroll, valuations and invoices come out of that week.

Frequently asked questions

Is there software for plastering contractors in the UK?
Valegrid Flow suits UK plastering and drylining subcontractors: it prices tenders per m² from your own rates with an AI estimator, runs price-work and day-rate crews on site, and handles CIS payroll and valuations from one approved timesheet.
Can I price plastering per square metre?
Yes. Lines are priced from your rate library using the unit you choose — m² for skim and board, metres for beads, lump sums or provisional sums where that is how you price. The rates stay yours; Flow uses them rather than inventing its own.
Does it calculate areas from the drawings?
Not from an uploaded PDF. Flow reads the rooms and the work marked against them from the drawings and spec and sets them out as areas, but the m² figures come from you or the specification, or are recorded as assumptions. If you draw the rooms in Flow's own drawing tool, it works out the wall, ceiling and tiling m² for you, less doors and windows, and lists the plaster, board, beads, scrim and fixings they need.
How much does it cost?
From £29 a month for a sole trader, £149 for small crews with CIS payroll, and £499 for contractors. Every plan includes monthly AI credits and a 14-day free trial.
