VALEGRID FLOW

Construction estimating software with an AI estimator that prices the tender for you

Construction estimating and tendering software helps a builder turn an enquiry into a priced quotation — the scope, the quantities, the rates, the overheads and profit — and track it to a win. In VALEGRID FLOW the estimator is built in: Flow, the AI estimator in the Tendering tab, reads the specification and drawings you upload, creates the areas and the estimate sections, prices each line from your own rate library, sets overheads, contingency and profit as separate figures, records every assumption and exclusion, and drafts the quotation. You approve each stage and send the quote yourself. Win the job and the same estimate becomes the live project: the areas and budgets you priced are the ones your crew books hours against.

Spec and drawings in, scope out

Drop the specification, drawings, photos and supplier quotes into the tender. Flow reads them all, works out the scope room by room from what is marked on the drawings and written in the spec, and creates the areas and estimate sections for you. Upload the architect's drawings or draw your own in Flow.

Priced from your rates, every assumption written down

Flow prices from your company's rate library first. Where there is no rate it says so and records the assumption, and exclusions, risks and client-supplied items go on the list too — so the quotation says exactly what is and isn't included. Net cost, preliminaries, overheads, contingency and profit stay as separate figures.

You stay in charge of every step

Flow works a tender in the order a quantity surveyor would: brief, scope, quantities, pricing, commercials, checks, then the quotation. It stops for your say-so at each stage, every change it makes appears as a card you can undo, and it never sends anything to a client — you do.

Win it, and the tender becomes the job

Mark the tender won and it becomes a live project in one step, with the areas and budgets you priced. Workers clock in by QR against those areas, every hour burns the budget you priced, and Flow warns you when a job starts to drift — the same hours then run payroll, valuations and invoices.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the spec and drawings

Start a tender, drop in the documents you have, or draw your own plan. Flow reads everything and sets out the scope by area.

  2. 2

    Price it with Flow

Flow builds the estimate from your rates, sets the commercials and drafts the quotation. You check each stage and send the quote.

  3. 3

    Win and run the job

One step turns the won tender into a live project. Your crew's hours burn the budgets you priced, and payroll, valuations and invoices come from the same week.

Frequently asked questions

What does Flow, the AI estimator, actually do?
Flow is the estimator built into the Tendering tab of Valegrid Flow. It reads the specification, drawings and other documents you upload, creates the areas and estimate sections, prices each line from your own rate library, sets overheads, contingency and profit, records every assumption and exclusion, and drafts the quotation. Everything it does lands in the real tender, shown as a card you can undo.
Does Flow send quotes to my clients?
No. Flow never sends anything to a client. It prepares the tender and the quotation document; you check it and send it yourself.
Does Flow measure quantities from drawings?
No. Flow reads the scope from the drawings — the rooms, the new work, the notes and finishes — and turns it into areas. It doesn't scale measurements off a drawing. Quantities come from you, from the spec, or are recorded as assumptions you can see and change.
How is Flow charged?
Flow uses AI credits. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and you can add extra credits in the app when a busy tendering month needs more. Valegrid Flow starts at £29 per month.
What happens when I win the tender?
One step turns the won tender into a live project with the areas and budgets you priced. Your crew clock in by QR against those areas, so you can see the profit on the job from day one rather than at the final account.
